St. Pete to receive major $6.9 million grant for affordable internet access for all

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has recommended that the City of St. Petersburg receive $6,925,163. The grant, part of the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program, marks St. Pete as the only municipality in Florida to receive this funding.
