Affordable Housing: What we can & can’t do to ‘fix it’ ft. Ashon Nesbitt & Amy Foster

We hear the term affordable housing, but what does it really mean? And can we fill the affordable housing shortage.

Pulse Pod host Adrienne Reddick welcomes St. Petersburg native Ashon Nesbitt, CEO of the Florida Housing Coalition, a statewide advocacy and training leader in the affordable housing space and host of the largest annual affordable housing conference in Florida; along with Amy Foster, a former two-term St. Petersburg City Councilmember who is now Administrator of Housing and Neighborhood Services for the City of St Petersburg.

Nesbitt and Foster discuss some of the specific actions being taken at the state and local level to meet the challenge. They also share insights on the big picture factors driving the affordability crunch, and some of the innovations happening on both sides of Tampa Bay.
