Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Three years of responsible administrative or managerial experience in human services related to families and children in the public, private, or non-profit sector.
  • Strong leadership skills, fundraising experience, financial management, and ability to manage and motivate staff. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and comfortable making presentations to both small and large diverse groups.
  • Must have experience working with community organizations, government entities, and both public and private agencies that specialize in activities that meet the needs of the community. 
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, fund development, donor cultivation and human resources.
  • Must pass a Level II fingerprint background screen.

Support The Edible Peace Patch Project

The Edible Peace Patch Project built two new schoolyard gardens and educated over 400 students. Students had the opportunity to try dishes made from school garden grown vegetables and locally grown produce from Wunderfarms and Pinellas Pal First Fruits Hydroponics. May 30, 2017 - In honor of the 25th Anniversary of The Florida Holocaust Museum (The FHM), this oral history series shares the stories of twenty-five Holocaust Survivors. Each Survivor brings to the series an individual voice that enlivens our understanding of the Holocaust; the war’s effects on individuals, families, and communities dispersed across the world; and its reverberations into the present moment.  Jacqueline (Jackie) Albin was born in Belfort, France in 1937, two years before the beginning of World War II. Although she was quite young during World War II, her parents’ stories supplemented her own vivid memories of those years. Click here to learn more.
