Students can “Go Coastal” at Marine Science spring break camp


Boredom is for the birds when there’s water everywhere in Pinellas County. Elementary-aged students have the opportunity to combine learning and outdoor fun during the upcoming Spring Break holiday. Interested parents and students are encouraged to consider “Going Coastal.” The Going Coastal Spring Break Camp at Weedon Island is a three-day camp running from Wednesday, March 15 to Friday, March 17, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Weedon Island Preserve, 1800 Weedon Dr. N.E., St. Petersburg. The camp, for students ages 7 to 11, focuses on marine science themes. The camp will offer participants a balance of recreational and educational activities intended to engage and challenge students with activities and team-building exercises.
