Press Release Bethune-Cookman University Professor, Dr. Morrison Obeng Receives certification from ABET
Daytona Beach, Fla.- B-CU faculty are continuing to make their mark across the globe and represent the university as a highly academic, research based university that happens to be a historically Black college and university. Dr. Morrison Obeng, Computer Science and Engineering Department Chairman, has completed the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) Program Evaluator Training Program and received a certificate to conduct site evaluations for computer engineering programs at ABET recognized universities. ABET accredits college and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering and engineering technology across associate, bachelor and masters degree programs. ABET accreditation confirms that engineering programs are of quality and will generate graduates ready for the workforce. Learn more here.
