Jamie Foxx In 'Spider-Man 2'? Star In Talks To Play Villain In 'Amazing' Sequel

November 1, 2012 - Shocking news from Variety: Jamie Foxx is negotiating to star as the villain in the upcoming sequel to "The Amazing Spider-Man." The Oscar-winning actor would play Electro, a man who gets his super powers from a lightning strike.

As Variety noted, Sony -- the studio behind "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" -- had no comment on the rumor, but Foxx kind of did. In a tweet posted just after the Variety news dropped, the actor commented that he dressed up as Electro for Halloween.  Read more at huffingtonpost.com.
